Become a CPA PEP facilitator or session leader
Research has shown that the quality of instructors and reviewers is one of the key deciding factors in the success of any candidate.
Our profession requires qualified session leaders and facilitators to guide candidates through the CPA PEP and help them to achieve success.
What’s involved
- Session leaders teach candidates during the mandatory two-day (usually Saturday and Sunday) workshops.
- Facilitators are responsible for reviewing candidate submissions, providing feedback and responding to questions in a timely manner.
To become a session leader or facilitator, you must:
- be a CPA, Chartered Accountant (CA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified General Accountant (CGA) member in good standing
- have an undergraduate degree and a strong interest in accounting education
Session leaders must also have previous in-person teaching experience. Preference will be given to those with experience in facilitation. To become a facilitator or session leader, you must participate in the mandatory, uncompensated training program.
