Lisa Zajko is a partner at Deloitte, leading the Global Trade Advisory practice nationally from Toronto. With more than 27 years in indirect tax, she specializes in Customs and Global Trade Advisory services, along with GST/HST, PST, QST and other indirect taxes. 

Lisa advises multinational clients across all sectors, navigating complex GST/HST/QST/PST implications, designing strategies and structuring global transactions to minimize customs duty and other indirect tax costs associated with international trade while ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.  

Lisa holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University and a law degree from Osgoode Hall, York University. 

She has been recognized in the Indirect Tax Leaders Guide since 2016 and has received I.E. Canada’s 2014 Member of the Year Award for promoting Canadian trade. Lisa is a frequent speaker at industry seminars and has contributed to customs-related publications on a variety of topics, including transfer pricing and valuation.
