Stephanie Stapleford is a tax lawyer at Stewart McKelvey and the Chair of the Taxation Law Section of CBA-NB. In her practice, Stephanie represents taxpayers and registrants in their disputes against Canada Revenue Agency and provincial finance authorities – handling objections, appeals, relief/remission requests, voluntary disclosures, judicial review applications and settlement negotiations under the Income Tax Act, the Excise Tax Act and other federal and provincial taxation statutes. She also works with accountants to implement tax-driven corporate reorganizations.
