Stephenie Fox

Stephenie started with CPA Canada on April 1, 2015, and is responsible for addressing key strategic decisions related to independent standard setting, as well as leading the team that supports Canada’s standard-setting boards to develop reporting and assurance standards. Canada has long been known both for the quality of its standard setting and for the independent, objective and transparent structures responsible for developing standards and guidance. Stephenie has over 30 years of experience in independent standard setting, establishing and sustaining relationships with national and international standard-setting bodies.

Prior to joining CPA Canada, she was technical director at the International Public Sector Accounting Standards Board. Previously, Stephenie was a senior reviewer at the Canadian Public Accountability Board and also spent 12 years as a principal working with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. She started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
